Although all the minerals and vitamins found in the body are essential, some have a larger role than others.
Magnesium is one of them. Feeling constantly tired could mean a magnesium deficiency.
This is because tiredness is often connected to overtaxed or exhausted adrenal glands.
Magnesium is well-known for increasing sleep quality. Having a sufficient intake of magnesium is a key component of adrenal recovery.
Magnesium also plays a vital role in producing muscular energy, so if you’re suffering from fatigue-related fibromyalgia or aching limbs, this could be an important supplement to take. Magnesium supplements activates enzyme production, regulates body temperature, and helps build bones.
Another supplement to help combat the feelings of tiredness is lecithin. According to the EU’s Committee on Herbal Medicinal Products, lecithin can reduce feelings of tiredness and weakness.
Lecithin can be taken as a capsule or in powder form. Holland and Barrett said of the supplement: “Lecithin is a fatty substance found in the cells of your body, plant and animal tissues. In a study with US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health, soy lecithin was investigated on fatigue and menopausal symptoms in middle age.
The study noted that their were improvements on fatigue when consuming high doses of lecithin.
